 THE OPPORTUNITY:

Solomon Group is currently looking for an energetic and hardworking CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team in Orlando, FL. The purpose of the CNC Machine Shop is to increase production throughout the fabrication shop, and to cut otherwise impossible or improbable parts for all jobs running through the fabrication shop.

 Our team members get their hands dirty every day, physically turning raw materials into beautiful scenic elements. This is our magic workshop...the place where plans sketches and renderings emerge as full-scale project components, ready for installation.

 At Solomon Group, we work on several productions at once. You must be quick on your feet (and with your hands), motivated, thrive in a deadline-driven environment and enjoy new and creative ways to employ your skill set. You must have the ability to come up with creative solutions, thrive in a fast-paced environment and most of all, be truly passionate about events. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bit selection
• Table setup
• Labeling and cleaning parts
• Keeping machine and shop clean

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in CNC Machining 
• The ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• A clean driving record (Class D license a plus).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the eagerness to be part of a busy, productive team.
• The desire to learn.
