Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

MAJOR FUNCTION

This position works within the County Information Technology Division (IT) and reports to the Security Administrator under the Information Technology (IT) Director. Work requires proficiency planning, coordinating, implementing, and managing the Identity Management technologies. The incumbent will also demonstrate project management skills and knowledge of Project Management Methodology, and best practices as a team player.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES

Technical Skills

• Monitors, configures, supports, and administers Okta Identity Management System.
• Develop the identity management process.
• Create, modify, and retire user and system accounts across all applications, platforms, systems, and cloud environments.
• Assign, modify, and remove access permissions across the BoCC enterprise, including networks, applications, vpn, and cloud services.
• Updating and validating users have the correct access to the networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.
• Creating, generating, and presenting reports on account activity.
• Password recovery and resets.
• Configuring and issuing Multi-Factor access tokens and badges.
• Demonstrating an ability to learn and understand new subject matter quickly.
• Maintaining business process maps across multiple products in the provisioning, identity, and automation domain areas.
• Developing consistent methodology for maintaining user account management integrity.
• Assist with management of the security badging identity system
• Travel to off-site county locations to resolve issues, as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Create and maintain visio diagrams.
• Understanding of Identity Management and roles definition
• Experience with developing role descriptions and responsibilities
• Detail oriented and excellent writing skills

 MININUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an Accredited two (2) year College college/university with major course work in Computer Science or a related field. 
•  May substitute 4 years of IT related experience for an Associate’s Degree
• 2 years’ IT related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to secure a valid Florida driver's license at the time of employment within this classification.
