The Opportunity
S.I. Goldman Company is looking for a full-time HR Coordinator in it’s Longwood, Florida Office. As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with all administrative duties within the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator works closely with the Director of Human Resources to support the company’s mission and goals.
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources Department by administering the following duties and responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by being the key point of contact to support employees and new hires and quickly responding to inquiries.
- Conducts the onboarding process for incoming employees from submitting background checks and drug screens through I-9 verification and state new hire reporting collaborating with hiring managers as needed.
- Conducts New Hire and Benefits orientation.
- Administers the 90-day and annual performance review process.
- Assists with the training and development of employees.
- Prepares the monthly company newsletter.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Maintains time off calendars and manages time off requests.
- Organizes office, updates department and employee files and records, and acts as Records Administrator for the Human Resources Department.
- Follows compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Performs other related duties as requested.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe, required
- Proficient with MS Publisher, preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in the human resources field
- Working knowledge of HR and employment laws, preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
