JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing UPR's customer data platform vision that aligns to marketing priorities, drive the design, and enhance CDP capabilities & features to provide added insights from data needed to drive strategies, such as understanding of offer responsiveness, personalization, content relevancy and cross channel engagement. Responsible for developing and enhancing CDP capabilities including data ingestion, data sourcing from multiple systems (especially our Mar-Tech stack), ID resolution, profile creation, profile enrichments, integration with first party data, 3rd party ID graph, audience creation, taxonomy development, segmentation, data privacy management, customer journey map, activation to different channels and integration with related cross platforms. This role requires a broad understanding of marketing technologies and integrations of CDP to consumer facing applications such as customer interactions hubs, emails, chat, web & app personalization, guest call centers, data management platform and analytics platforms. Design data ingestion techniques and build efficient and scalable data applications through use of APIs, Python, Spark, and Data Management best practices and build futuristic and scalable AWS cloud-based data analytics platform to support digital and social transformation at UPR. This role requires strong partnership and interactions with senior executive management, business stakeholders, data scientists, engineering, and IT organizations. Promote enterprise-wide adoption of Customer Data Platform. Educate teams on Customer Data Platform and applications/use cases.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement, and evolve the strategic direction and roadmap for UPR's Enterprise customer data platforms (CDP) based on business/marketing needs, market trends and insights, and Enterprise ManTech Roadmap priorities.
  • Design, develop and enhance CDP capabilities including data ingestion, data sourcing from multiple systems (especially our Mar-Tech stack), ID resolution, profile creation, profile enrichments, integration with first party data, 3rd party ID graph, audience creation, taxonomy development, segmentation, data privacy management, customer journey map, activation to different channels and integration with related cross platforms.
  • Design data ingestion techniques and build efficient and scalable data applications through use of APIs, Python, Spark, and Data Management best practices and build futuristic and scalable AWS cloud-based data analytics platform to support digital and social transformation at UPR.
  • Lead all aspects of the implementation of an Enterprise Customer Data Platform (CDP) solution and identity resolution solutions that supports all lines of business across all markets.
  • CDP integration and data orchestration with MDM, Marketing cloud platforms, Cloud data lake, various channels, social media technologies, DMP and Analytics platform.
  • Adapt and enhance Marketing Automation process.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for the CDP.
  • Work alongside divisional marketing and analytics teams to support the end-to-end understanding & governance of each division's customer, prospect, and marketing data needs.
  • Support web & app personalization, audience management and taxonomy, channel activation & measurement, marketing campaign design, personalization journey map development.
  • Track and estimate impact of customer data platforms deliverables on divisional business outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and coordinate a variety of resources to ensure delivery of a project.
  • Develop & deliver proposals to Executive leadership, including the development of use case strategy with business case.
  • Interact with senior executive management, business stakeholders, data scientists, engineering, and IT organizations.
  • Promote enterprise-wide adoption of Customer Data Platform.
  • Educate teams on Customer Data Platform and applications/use cases.
  • Foster an environment that enables the Customer Data Platform Engineering team to build quickly while maintaining a high standard for quality.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Science, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in marketing data role. 3 years of experience in in customer data management. Experience with at least two following technologies: Customer Data Platform (CDP), Data Management Platform (DMP), Identity Resolution, 3rd Party Identity Graphs.
