Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position relies upon a mix of business acumen and analytical skills to support the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses that will help executive and divisional leadership to make data-driven decisions. This person will be directly responsible for providing in-depth analysis, budget development, management reporting, and financial support for numerous operating entities within The Villages.

Salary commensurate with experience: Starting at $55,276
Responsibilities:
- Provide robust analytical services to Business Partners which provides input to the development of strategic business plans, budgets and forecasts, scenario planning, what if analysis and cost management initiatives
- Develop proformas and valuations on a wide range of businesses
- Analyze financial business and economic data in support of forecasting business trends
- Lead the annual Budget effort for defined operating entities and work with Business Partners with business goals
- Develop presentations for senior level reviews
- Work collaboratively with the accounting team to stay aligned as priorities change and new initiatives are implemented
- Proactively identify and provide root cause analysis within the business that are not always intuitive or obvious
- Develop and analyze financial models that drive strategic insights and help address business problems
- Study and evaluate business and economic trends
- Support ad-hoc analysis focused on driving value to the company
- Provide input to BI development team on requirements and enhancements to existing data sets and reporting technologies
- Working with Senior Business Intelligence Managers, manage end to end delivery of structured financial projects and analysis, engaging business operational staff, third parties and stakeholders to develop business insight and opportunities to meet strategic objectives.
- Work closely with leadership in the development of efficient budget/forecast processes that servers the need of the organization
- Meet deadlines and provide line of business insights as part of weekly and monthly business reviews
- Support and optimize the monthly business review process
- Reconcile key data sets on a recurring basis to ensure reporting integrity
- Gather reporting requirements
- Become an advocate for BI usage and drive user-adoption
- Identify potential data integrity issues
- Support partners as needed on projects and reporting requests
- Collaborate with the BI development team to deliver value added reporting solutions
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative discipline. CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus
- Experience using MS Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Access) and knowledge of capabilities of applications
- Exceptional MS Excel skills and deep understanding of model building in Excel
- ERP and Data Warehouse query building experience
- Experience working with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) and requirement gathering
- Experience working within a large-scale development company and/or knowledge of water and wastewater company operations is a plus and may be considered in lieu of certain other requirements
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work, and support projects and meet deadlines in a complex business environment
- Advanced financial analysis/business modeling skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements and related accounting activity
- Deep understanding of planning and budgeting process
- Ability to self-manage progress and deliverables with a high degree of accountability and urgency
- Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels and understand the value of an analytical approach
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity in their approach to work
- Excellent partnering skills
