Facility Support (Yard Maintenance) Job description

Responsible for

Yard maintenance will keep all areas of the yard clean of debris, obstacles, materials and supplies to create a safe, clean work environment.

Positioning and retrieving equipment on the location's property

Will have experience and training to operate equipment safely and efficiently as needed, (e.g.. Forklift)

Parking lot maintenance- cleans and maintains a safe parking lot and outlying property

Perform general laboring duties as assigned and when necessary as instructed by supervisors

Ability to drive a truck with trailer or plow.

Heavy Equipment machine operator (preferred)

Wash incoming equipment & function test equipment

Ensures that all rental equipment is properly tagged and has the required key

Handles yard check-ins and check-outs

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to follow directions and instructions from Supervisor.

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Always provide professional customer service.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Works well in a team environment.

Communicates proficiently.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly.

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.

Must be able to sit, bend, crawl, kneel, and reach.

Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather.

Must be able to navigate uneven terrain.
