Lockheed Martin Space in Titusville is seeking a Summer 2024 Contracts Intern. In this role, you will Collect and Analyzing data to identify business and contractual risks, help maintain correspondence and tracking matrix to help management make informed decisions.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of analyzing/synthesizing financial data, regulations, procedures, process descriptions, and make recommendations. Strong English language communication skills (verbal, written, reading comprehension). Solid interpersonal and presentation skills.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled in Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Contracts, Planning, Material or relevant or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Microsoft Office Suite of Apps
- Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Experience developing creative solutions to problems
-Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Desired Skills:
- Leadership Experience
- Coursework related to contracts / negotiations
- Community involvement
- Negotiation experience (debate coursework/experience)
- Ability to solve problems using complex sources of data
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
- Basic understanding of FAR and DFARS
- NCMA certifications or chapter involvement
- Extracurricular involvement

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
