This position is for an experienced Capture Manager who will act as a Capture Excellence Partner in support of Line of Business capture needs, providing BD and Capture teams with capture strategy and process expertise and leadership in support of RMS teams pursuing new business. The successful candidate will ensure consistent implementation of the RMS Win Plan and CPS-009, provide strategic guidance, mentoring, and facilitation to LOB capture staff and across the corporation. Specific job requirements include but are not limited to;
• Establishing close working relationships with LOB S&BD leadership and capture teams for early issue identified and resolution.
• Working with BD and Capture teams in the crafting and shaping of win strategies, including but not limited to win strategy workshops, “Art of the Deal” workshops, and mentoring capture leads.
• Training others to effectively perform win plan activities and develop capture process artifacts.
• Lead Customer Value Proposition (CVP) workshops, Independent Lessons Learned (IL2) reviews, win strategy workshops and Color Team Reviews (Gold, Blue, Pink and Red)
• Provide, and train others to perform, critical capture assistance and capture health checks
• Provide expertise as required to support corporate training and win plan events,
• Support capture process improvement initiatives for all of RMS and be a champion of positive change throughout capture process.
When assigned, lead the Capture Excellence's ongoing engagement with and support for an individual Line of Business (LOB)
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a capture manager on competitive opportunities
• Thorough understanding and execution of RMS win plan and CRBA processes
• Experience to offer BD and capture advice and mentoring to BD and capture leads as and when needed.
• Team player and team builder
• Self-starter; successful multi-tasker; highly organized, who drives projects to completion
• Works well with all levels of the organization, up to and including senior Executives
• Experience leading teams and ability to influence individuals and teams
• Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with competing/shifting priorities
• Understanding of RMS Capture pipeline and strategy
Desired Skills:
• Recent experience supporting multiple stakeholder groups
• Secret clearance desired
• Experience with the C6ISR portfolio

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $146,800 - $281,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
