Description:Seeking a Systems Requirements (SR) engineer to perform verification and validation (V&V) as a form of requirements traceability for several related Programs. The SR engineer will perform V&V for current and future Electro-Optical (EO) systems for future platforms. The SR engineer will serve as the focal point for the traceability of requirements and will work with various stakeholders. The SR engineer will be required to support necessary internal and external design reviews. The candidate will also be responsible for any required demonstration of the system design capabilities and provisions for its application. Activities under this effort may include:
- Coordination with the team for V & V scenarios, and predicted performance;
- Coordination with stakeholders including those associated with platform mission system, external/internal sensor providers, core algorithms, safety, and security ;
- The SR engineer will support all system requirements related performance demonstrations or activities. The SR engineer will routinely coordinate with the Program Requirements Lead, SEIT, Software, IT&E, Analyst, Safety, and Security.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline
- Graduation date December 2023 or earlier
- 0 to 2 years of work experience
- Secret clearance investigated in the last 5 years
- Experience understanding requirements and using performance data to adequately document the verification and validation results.
Desired Skills:
- Proficient in DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo or MagicDraw, and SysML.
- Understanding of basic Electro-Optical system principles
- Experience with Mission planning, software development, and data modeling
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
