Within the spirit of “Making People's Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for leading, motivating, and closely supervising the sales efforts of the outside account executives. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Full-Time, On-Site position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the outside account executive sales staff by planning, assigning, and coordinating the work of staff and instructing staff on department policies and procedures, as well as work methods and techniques.
- Assist sales staff in sales efforts and sales development.
- Inform Leadership on the status of retail advertising.
- Recommend and justify retail advertising rates to management.
- Recommend and justify retail advertising sections and other promotions to management to meet retail advertising revenue requirements.
- Prepare a list of major account prospects from other advertising media and through cold calling.
- Obtain pertinent information concerning major account prospect's advertising needs through assessment interview.
- Develop presentations, sell, and negotiate contracts to new major retail businesses as well as established accounts.
- Make proposals/recommendations based on the needs of the client.
- Present and negotiate rates for major account advertisers.
- Develop and maintain effective client relations with all advertisers.
- Attend community and business events and maintain a variety of community contacts and assure good relationships with all.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four (4) year college or technical school; or one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business. Please refer to the Vehicle Safety Program for the policies and procedures that this position is required to follow.
- A Valid Driver's License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.
